Inspired by a recent trip to Animafest in Zagreb Croatia and the annual Annecy Animation Festival. Tram Tram is a whimsical journey narrative. Using trams as a vehicle to move through the city streets and surrounding landscapes, the narrative is set to a soundscape captured on the trip, with the sounds of crowds, trams and street performers accompanying the journey. The animation is an opportunity to experiment with a combination of stop motion and 2D frame-by-frame animation techniques to build a unique aesthetic.
